Disaster Team Informational Meeting - November 16 at 2:30 p.m.When disaster strikes, we want FBCJ to be a place people can turn to for help. Our church has been designated as an official shelter for relief by the Red Cross, but we do not yet have a certified team in place, which is necessary for us to be ready when called upon. We are looking for volunteers to be part of our Disaster Relief Team. We will have an informational meeting on Sunday, November 16 at 2:30 p.m. for anyone who is interested. The meeting will last about an hour and will provide information about how we can prepare our church to be an emergency shelter and certify our volunteers as a host team for disaster relief. There will be a Q&A session following the presentation to answer any questions. Anyone who is interested in becoming a part of this team, please call the church office. |
