Harvest Festival


OCTOBER 31, 2008 FROM 6:00 P.M. UNTIL 8:00 P.M.


On Friday, October 31, we will be having our annual Harvest Festival and Truck-O-Treat event. A prize will be given for the best decorated trunk. There will be bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses, popcorn, chili boats, hot dogs, cookie crawl, face painting, and lots of candy -- and it's all FREE! You won't want to miss it! Bring all of your friends! Everyone is welcome!

HELP WANTED! There are many ways in which you can help with this exciting event. We need trunks, volunteers and lots of candy.

  • CANDY - All candy should be individually wrapped. There are collection tubs with scarecrows at each entrance to receive your donation. Look for sales in the papers and pass the word! Last year, we almost ran out of candy before the end of the event. Thanks you for your generosity!

  • TRUNKS - Vehicles are needed for Trunk-or-Treat. There will be a prize given to the best decorated trunk this year! There is NO theme, but to decorate with a fall flair! If you would like to register your trunk, please complete and submit the form below. (Download trunk guidelines.)

  • VOLUNTEERS - We need people to help with registration, parking, face painting and clean-up. We have set up a schedule for each work area. If you would be willing to work, please indicate your time and area preference on the form below.

  • TRAFFIC CONES - If you have or know someone who has traffic cones that we can borrow for the Harvest Festival, please call Bro. Michael or the church office as soon as possible.

FACE PAINTING


No experience necessary. We will teach you how to face paint and share the Gospel with children using the colors of the Wordless Book. It's easy and a great way to share the message of salvation with children (and their listening parents). If interested, check the box below.
