Performance - June 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
The musical to be presented on June 1 is formed around the story of Esther and is set in the city of Susa in Persia. The cast is led by
Lauren LaMotte who plays Esther and King Xerxes who is played by Brian Gleaves. There is a cast of interesting characters who make the story of Esther come alive. The entire cast will be costumed and the sets will be that of the throne room of King Xerxes. The production is full of solos, dance,
drama and much more! Come and see Esther's Extra-ordinary Faith.
As the children worked on this production, we took a close look at this very important part of Old Testament to see not only the beauty of Queen Esther, but the very important role she played in Jewish history. They learned how to take their faith and stand firm in its principles. In addition, the children were involved in making props and working on the sets.
The Children's Production Company meets during the regular school year. The children work on a music/drama production as they learn more about life choices with a Christ centered view. Production Company provides an environnment in which a child learns many different aspects of stage and production in addition to the music. We meet for rehearsals every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Room 204.
