We have a need for volunteers in the following service areas:
Teacher Needed for One-Year Olds - There will be an opportunity to touch the lives of
one-year olds beginning in July. We need a teacher for One-Year-Olds at 9:30 am on an
every other week basis. There is a helper in the room, but we need a lead teacher. Please contact Bro. Michael if you would like to serve our preschoolers in this way.
Youth Teachers and Workers Needed - We are looking for Small Group teachers and
workers. If you are interested, contact Chrissy Crimm at 876-0527.
Card & Letter Ministry - Bro. David is looking for individuals to help send cards through the
mail. This new Lifetouch ministry will begin in June. We plan to meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. The first meeting will be held June 3 in the church office. Volunteers may contact the office to sign up.
Quilting Volunteers Needed - We are looking for anyone of any age interested in helping make a
quilt for a wounded soldier at Ft. Campbell. No experience is necessary. Each piece will
be a 12 X 12 inch block of red, white and blue. For more information, please contact

Audio/Video/Media Help Needed - We are in need of a few good people who would like to assist us in the Audio/Video/Media Ministries of our church. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided. This important ministry of our church is vital for great worship experiences, special events, the quality and quantity of ministry opportunities, as well as the public perception of our church. Pen Pal Ministry - We have been gathering information on all of our members who are currently serving in the military, specifically those who have been deployed overseas or are serving and/or in training away from home. We are also gathering mailing addresses of our students who are away at college. The purpose of gathering this information is so that we can stay in touch with and encourage these Christian brothers and sisters through letters, cards and care packages. If you would like to submit a name and address to be added to the list, or if you would like to receive a list of the addresses so that you can send cards and letters, please contact the church office at 876-0527.
Rescue Mission - Join this ministry as they lead monthly worship services at the Rescue Mission. Men's Mission service is held every third Monday of the month - Contact: Vernon Latham (615-347-2003). Women's Mission service is held every fourth Monday - Contact: Linda Carol Royalty (615-876-4643).
Amateur Radio Operators - When a natural disaster strikes, FBCJ is a place to turn to for help. We have been designated as an official site for relief by the Red Cross. We are seeking amateur radio operators to volunteer
their time in the event of a disaster. Please call Johnny Perry at 405-3920 for further information.
Church Greeter - From the parking lot to the door, assist and greet people as they arrive at church. Contact Donald Brinson at 382-2608 or Steve Robinson at 419-0060.

Shut-in Meals - Prepare and/or deliver meals to the church's shut-ins on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. Contact Arene Gregory at 876-0317 or Sarah Anderson at 876-4709 for more information.
