Ladies: “The Beginning of the Greatest Story—a Study of the Book of Genesis” Includes a Genesis Scripture Journal
Facilitator: Mitzie Wheeler
Room 1103/ Cost: $20 donation (book & journal)
“In the Beginning, God created…” One of the most famous words in all of literature is also bedrock for the Christian faith. Join our Wednesday night ladies group as they dive deep into the first book of the Bible.

Men: “Jesus, Prince of the Kingdom of Heaven”

This verse by verse discussion through Matthew’s Gospel leaves no stone unturned. If you like honest conversation about life and the Bible and want to get to know other men in our church, this class is for you.

Men: “33 Authentic Manhood” series
Facilitator: JJ Watts
Room 1101
This series has lessons regarding his design, story, traps, work, marriage, and fatherhood. Join us we see what the Word tells us about each topic and support men through them.

Co-ed: “Old Testament Overview: Genesis to Proverbs”

God’s majesty and power are all over Scripture. The Old Testament can be challenging and often seem foreign, but its these promises that God made and kept in Christ Jesus. New and seasoned believers, join Chris and Cody as they teach an overview of the first half of the Old Testament.

Co-ed: “Grief Share”
Facilitators: Karl and Dorothy Johnson

Loss is a reality in a fallen, broken world. Grief is loss. Our good God has given us hope in Christ and help in community. Join this group to help you down the path of acknowledging and processing your loss and to find help remembering that God not only sees you where you are, but loves you more than you can ever imagine.

Co-ed: “Pastor’s Class: Selected Topics”
Facilitator: Bro. David Royalty
Join our Pastor as he leads a coed study on various topics in the Worship Center.

Women’s Weekday Classes

Ladies: “Empowered & Equipped” by Julia Higgins
Facilitator: Louisa Saylor
SaltHouse Upper Room/ Cost: $15  (Covers materials and childcare)
Monday Evenings, 6:00-7:30 PM (begins August 14)
Men and women alike are given the spiritual gift of teaching, yet few resources are designed specifically for women who exposit the Scriptures. Empowered and Equipped is a class designed to steer women through the steps needed to faithfully interpret, apply, and teach a passage of Scripture. By examining both the principles and practices of teaching of Bible exposition, Louisa will prepare women in our local church to make and mold disciples.

Jesus had 12 young men he intentionally trained and disciple. He called us to do the same when he gave the Great Commission in Matthew 28. On Tuesday mornings we will gather with other Mommas in our community to become our child’s primary disciple makers while gaining the confidence to approach family discipleship boldly.

How many times have you started a Bible reading plan, but never finished it? Do you long to grow in your relationship with Christ, but aren’t exactly sure where to start? Maybe you’ve been a student of the Word for decades, but you could use a fresh perspective of some current Bible study trends. Join us on Thursday mornings starting in August as we learn to study the Bible with all of our hearts AND minds.
