Worship is essential to our lives, critical for our faith, and foundational in our relationship to God. Because we were created for worship, FBCJ expresses our worship through every available means – our voices, our instruments, our talents – in short, using everything within us to lift up praise to our great God. In everything we do, we seek to glorify God, encourage believers, and testify to unbelievers.
Our first and most important worship group is our congregation. Everything we do in worship is designed to encourage these worshippers to focus on and to honor our God. In addition FBCJ offers continuing opportunities in worship leadership and participation for almost every age, from children through adults. This group leads in worship on a weekly basis and leads in several special and seasonal worship events throughout the year. Membership is available by interview with the Worship Pastor.
AXIS Student Worship Arts Ministry
Students in grades 9 – 12
Axis uses creative forms of expression, including singing, movement, drama, and technology to lead others into worship. Axis participates in an annual mission tour. Membership is available by interview with Axis leadership.
FBCJ Kids in Motion
Ages 5 through 6th grade
This program will help your child learn about music and worship and will give them an opportunity to learn how to develop and use their talents for the glory of God. Membership is open. Join at any time.
FBCJ Praise Band
Older Students and Adults
The Worship Band is comprised of rhythm instruments such as guitars, keyboards, and percussion. The FBCJ Band leads in worship every Sunday, and also participates in seasonal and special worship events. Membership is available by audition.
FBCJ Drama Ministry – Calvary in Motion
Children through Adults
CIM uses dramatic arts to communicate the truths of Scripture and to lead in worship. Membership is by interview.

The mission of Encore Fine Arts Centre is to make available quality instruction to students of all ages at an affordable rate. We offer positive teaching methods with experienced, Christian Instructors.
Whether you are a beginning student, intermediate or advanced, we provide instruction that will help you further develop your artistic gifts!
FBCJ Media Ministry
Using State of the Art Audio/Visual equipment, and open to experienced students and adults. The Media ministry supports all FBCJ Worship events and special events throughout the year. Membership is by interview with the Worship Pastor and Media Team Leader.
