Disaster Relief Training

The Tennessee Baptist Mission Board will offer a Disaster Relief Training and Certification Event on Saturday, June 28 from 8am-4pm at Cedar Hill Baptist Church. The course covers a wide range of topics and is titled, “Introduction to Disaster Relief, Chainsaw Operation and Safety, Flood Recovery, and Mass Feeding”.

The FBCJ Deacons ministry invites you to be a part of this event. The Deacons believe so strongly in the need for this certified training, they are subsidizing the cost for every participant, which means that your cost will only be $10. This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID, hat, background check, and membership pin, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years.

Pre-Registration is required, and the deadline to pre-register is Wednesday, June 18 in order to receive this discounted rate. Please pre-register by contacting info@fbcjoelton.org.
