Red River Canoe Trip – July 8, 2023
This family outing is open to everyone six years old and older, but children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost for the trip is $30 per person or $90 for a family, which covers the canoe rental and lunch. Lunch will be provided by the church. Registration and medical forms are required for each person attending. If someone wants to bring a Kayak of their own or rent a Kayak on their own, they need to contact Red River Rentals themselves to set that up. The church will only be providing canoes. Canoes can 2-4 people.
We will meet Saturday morning, July 8th at 7:30 am at the church office parking lot (parking lot 3-where the water tower is) and head out together by 8:00 am. It is important that we arrive early enough to take advantage of the first canoes available. It will be late afternoon when we get back. Lunch will be around 1:00 pm. You may want a few snacks that are easy to grab such as granola bars and definitely bring water. You may want to pack sunscreen, a waterproof bag to hold valuables so they don’t get wet, bug spray, sunglasses, a hat, and a towel.
