Young Adult Canoe/Kayak Trip

Come enjoy a day of canoeing and kayaking on the Red River right outside of Clarksville!  We will be taking a church van from FBCJ on June 26.  We will depart at 8:30AM and return around 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon.

Date:  June 23, 2021 by noon 

Cost:  $25 per person to canoe (Holds 2 to 3 people) / $35 per person to kayak

NOTE: If we can get 15 or more people to sign up by Tuesday, June 22^nd, then we will receive a 15% group discount.  Otherwise it is $50 per canoe (seats two people, i.e. $25 per person) and $35 per kayak (single occupant).  To make sure we have enough of each reserved, indicate which you would like to do on the signup form.

What to Bring:

Wear shoes that can get wet and muddy and won’t fall off; flip-flops are typically a bad idea. Wear comfortable clothes that can get wet. Bring:  water, a snack, (sack lunch), sunscreen, bug repellent, a towel, and a change of clothes to leave in your car.  Leave anything that you don’t want to get lost or wet in the car or at home.  You would not believe how many people lose something on the river every day.
