First Baptist Church Joelton

55+ Ministry

The Senior Adult Ministrysupports our church in its mission of “impacting our communities with the hope, peace and purpose of Jesus Christ.”

The 39ers meet in the Salt House on the second Tuesday of every month at 11:00 a.m. for a Bible study and covered dish lunch here at the church. The 39ers also engage in ministry opportunities, games, crafts and other activities on these days.

We have a couple of ongoing fundraisers in which everyone can participate. If you shop at Kroger you can help by using a Kroger gift card to pay for your purchases. You can get one of these gift cards from Peggy Williams and use it just like a credit or debit card when you do your grocery shopping, and Kroger will donate to the church 4 percent of all purchases made with the card.

Another thing that we do to raise money for the church is Aluminum Can Recycling. Save your aluminum cans and deposit them in the bin behind the Family Life Center. The proceeds go toward many church related projects. Recycling is becoming a way of life with us today, make it profitable to our cause by bringing your cans to the church.
